Finally got all the plumbing fixed. Turned out it was a hair clog of massive proportions, that no normal snake could handle. Plumber had to use a snake that was basically a pipe augur! Got a better hair trap for the bathtub and trying to figure out what to do about the sink. Anyway, I had to do some MAJOR cleaning because the bathroom/utility ( Read more... )

So, there is a big clog somewhere in the bathroom pipes. This is causing our water to drain slowly and back up into the toilet. There hasn't been a flood or anything, but it's really annoying. We tried snaking, renting an electric snake, putting chemicals down there ( Read more... )

So, I've started cooking up a storm for some reason. I've been making my own bread and a lot of things from scratch. It's kind of fun and helps alleviate the boredom. I also made some roasted red pepper hummous (even roasted the peppers myself) and it turned out to be quite delicious. I think I'm gonna try baba ghannouj next. I've never done ( Read more... )

Heard this song on 89X today. Thought it was interesting.

So, my sore throat is a lot worse. I have a nasty cough. I feel like my throat is raw and swollen. My chest also feels tight and I have a slight difficulty breathing.
