     The days between Christmas and New Year's are generally slow, and good for unwinding.  We celebrate Boxing Day in Canada (and most of the Commonwealth) as a stat holiday, and it's generally needed after the feasting on Christmas Day.  We spent it mostly relaxing, napping, nibbling, and baking Shortbread cookies.  Unfortunately for me, I got ( Read more... )

     It's always a busy weekend, when you only get one day off per week to catch up on all the work that needs to be done around a farm!  Some days are more productive than others though, depending on such things as the weather, breakdowns (or lack thereof, hopefully!) and other "Murphey's Law" scenarios.
