While clearing a space for the horses' paddocks, I found quite a variety of mushrooms growing around the farm. Since I don't know anything about fungi, I took a number of pictures which I have added to my galleries in hopes that someone might be able to indentify them and tell me more about them. I found a cluster of morels last spring growing on the mulch pile. Sautéed some in margarine; interesting flavor but nothing remarkable.

Don't know what your's are; they slightly resemble portobellos but I'd want reliable identification before tasting...

Hmmmm...

Thanks for the info! I think I'll just err on the side of caution and continue to pitch all mushrooms that I find into the trash-bin. I just really don't want to take a chance on poisoning myself or the horses.
