It was a beautiful day today, the sort of day that makes you glad to be alive; It was a perfect Autumn day: clear blue skies, warm temperatures, a gentle breeze blowing...  And bugs...  yeah...  Maybe not quite so perfect thanks to all the bugs, but otherwise a very nice day!

As expected, we arrived late on Saturday night, checked the horses, and pretty much called it a night.  The next morning we joined our friends out at Looney Pond for brunch before getting back to work at the farm.  We were lucky in that the weather held, and despite the dour forecasts, we actually had a beautiful day for working outside.

While clearing a space for the horses' paddocks, I found quite a variety of mushrooms growing around the farm. Since I don't know anything about fungi, I took a number of pictures which I have added to my galleries in hopes that someone might be able to indentify them and tell me more about them.
