i was at the barn today -- most usefully to talk to the owner of the little tb mare -- and decided to hop on stjarni for a bareback tolt. which was fine, except that i noticed that I HAD THE REINS CROSSED UNDER HIS CHIN -- only i *hadn't* notice for about the first five or ten minutes at all!

he's such an amazing horse, and i am such a fool :)

Haha, thats totally one of those moments where you would look around to see if anyone else saw before quickly fixing it...hehe.

hee! fortunately tb and owner had gone out to graze, and i told my spouse who just laughed :) i didn't even get off; stjarni let me lean forward and slip the reins around -- he's a saint :)
