We have a full set of Marquis boots for Tucson. We bought them after his near year of lameness, when we gave up on the bar shoes, wedges, and pads, and instead borrowed a barnmates' Marquis boots and watched, in astonishment, as the lameness vanished and the horse stepped out beautifully.
Haven't used them much, though, as he's been fine without them and isn't working on anything but soft arena footing right now. But we fully intend to use them for any longer hikes or if he really gets into anything. We did have him toss one the first time he was ridden outside with them, but we are still getting used to adjusting them to fit. He's done full rides (w/j/t/c) in the arenas without shifting them at all. And the barnmate who had them first NEVER loses them, and his rides are more like w/t/c/2tempis/piaffe/canter-pirouette.
Dunno about EZ Boots, but watching our barnmate rock it out with his Marquis boots (he has them to manage effects from foundering a few years ago), we went with that brand.
