Hi all.

This is an apparently 14 year old Morgan mare. I am waiting on the seller's registration number to confirm (if she is in fact registered)...but if you had to guess, how old would you say this mare is?

( Guess my age for a stuffed elephant! )

I agree with what was said above. She looks like she just popped out a baby (eh, or a few!). Doesn't look wormy, maybe a little on the heavy side, but Morgan's get fat on air. She actually kinda looks more like a Morab to me, with that dishy face, but she could just be a little more refined than most Morgans I've seen. She is definitely a cutie though!

She is a cutie. Shes def a full Morgan, but a modern type.. I did get her registered name and number, but for some reason the AMHA doesn't let you do a pedigree search on their website. Hmm.

Interesting. Did you try looking her up on allbreedpedigree.com? She might be on there, you never know! Are you 100% sure she hasn't been bred EVER? Just because the people who have her now haven't bred her doesn't mean she hasn't been bred. I dunno, that really looks like a baby-belly-back to me. Do you mind sharing her reg. name? I'd love to know her bloodlines.

She DEFINITELY looks a tad like a Morab with that face and neck. She's GORGEOUS though. What a cute little mare. I'd say she's probably had a few babies and been allowed to hang around and eat to her heart's delight.

She's a cute little pudgy thing, with some work she'd shape right up. AGH. She's just too cute! I'd say 14 is probably about right, honestly.

She does look a bit morab - I've got a 10 year old morab and he's stall-kept (so that rules out founder or overgrazing) and I ride him six days a week working to keep him conditioned, but he still has a pudgy belly.. (see below, old picture but...)

Shes def a full morgan, though a modern and not a lippitt, cause i got her name and reggy number, but for some reason the AMHA website doesnt provide a lookup service. grr.
