I am ridiculously excited about my potential vegetables! This will be the first time I've grown anything to eat. And the first time I've grown anything from seed. I can't wait to see the ickle shoots....!!

Growing your own, even when there's not room for an entire season's worth, is great. Tonight we've eaten home-grown (greenhouse) salad bowl and little gem lettuce, radishes and chives. Not exactly the most exciting food but I grew it *g* and it *is* exciting to see the little shoots turn into bigger shoots and get leaves . . . and so on.
