It's crossover week here at epic_recs and it's your (and our) chance to introduce your fellow fanfic reader to stories that 'combine as much fandom love in one shot as possible'. How many fandoms can you really fit into one fic? The more the merrier, of course ;p

Supernatural/Harry Potter. Sam/Dean. An insistent owl delivers the news that Dean is the newest Lord Taversham, but the brothers need to go to Hogwarts to get their magical education. Sam sees the perfect opportunity to learn what he needs to save Dean.

oh god if you want crossover epics you gotta check out pretty much everything written by Voracity. Most of it is Buffy-centric (usually focussing on Xander) but it crosses over with pretty much every fandom you can think of.

Oh, crossovers are my favorite. So I have lots of links, although I've tried to whittle them down some. Longer fics (i.e., at least 10k words) marked with a *. (I also second the recs for When Hellmouths Collide, Death and the Definitely-Not-a-Maiden, Upon a Fiery Steed, the Summer House/Shore Leave/Sabbatical trilogy, and Calling All Cops and Autobots above.)

Seven Times Dean Winchester Didn't Kill a Fugly (And the Two Times He Did) by silverruffian - Supernatural/various - Dean, Sam - Has Dean and Sam crossover into several different fandoms, including Bewitched and Sesame Street. Very much crack, but that's how I like my Supernatural fic.

Can't Stop the Turtle by roga - Discworld/Firefly - ensemble - It's a Discworld crossover, thus guaranteed to be funny if it's any good (which this is).

The Fortune-Teller by Hth - Buffy/Firefly - Kaylee/Tara - Tara joins the Serenity crew in order to help River with her mind-reading. This is nicely sweet.

You're welcome! I thought the same thing about Calvin/Jason too at first, but it's actually a fairly sweet story. It's a type of sweet that includes destruction of property via rockets, mind you, but still.
