Today, at work, I dealt with some major injuries, a drunkard, an attempt to recover a snowmachiner who got buried in an avalanche at a near-ish mountain, getting at least one event of the alpine national championships completed, and evacuating the mountain due to ASH FALL. Then, after work, I babysat.

Oooof. I feel a bit weird

I just finished cleaning my room. Finally! Now to finish all of the decorating I'd planned... but first, skiing. Also, the resort is moving a roommate in with me. :/

I'm celebrating this personal accomplishment, because the piles I've just dealt with I've had for more than a YEAR.

Today is my last day working hotel-side of the resort before going mountain-side to ski patrol, where we start (re)training tomorrow. I already did my last day waitressing, so I am getting rid of 2 jobs and only taking one. As such, I am wearing my bright pink long underwear and a sparkly scrunchy, which is just about as celebratory as my uniform ( Read more... )

They keep walking by with the obvious interest in oggling me.

Well, I'm not sure if it's healthy or not, but I guess I'm getting back together with Eric. I guess whatever it takes to be happy...

Last night, I went out of my way to invite Eric to join my new boss and coworker eating at a bar. He has me order for him, shows up to find us crowded around a small table, throws a public tizzy fit, and storms out of the bar.
