Seventh floor, seventh door after the seventh mirror on the wall. Lily was placed there not by accident, there was some reason for it. But that was neither here nor there for the infamous Sirius Black.For him it was only the placement of her room and easy enough to find. Already a lovely etching of lily flowers had embossed themselves into the door frame.

At his knock the door was opened, Lily stood just inside. Her clothe upon arrival traded in for a thin shirt of crimson and gold, her hair swept up into a pony tail to hang far down her back. She even offered him a smile as she waved him in. The door was left open a crack but she did allow him inside and took a seat on her bed. One jean clad thigh pulling up to sit Indian style atop the crisp white comforter atop her bed ( ... )

At least it wasn't 666. That would be Snape's numbers, but Sirius didn't say this. This Lily still liked Snape and didn't know what he was capable of. How much of an ass he was. She didn't know that he hadn't done a thing to help them since he'd arrived, how he was only acting as he was in order to win Lily. How he was hiding his true nature. That was the part that was making Sirius sick right now. That Snape was doing his best to play Lily like a well tuned violin. One didn't treat a girl like that. James had taught him that. "Sirius then," She nodded, the name still not quite at home on her tongue. But apparently they had gotten to that point, the older version of herself and him.but as long as we're correcting names I would ask you to call me Lily only if you stop calling Sev, Snivilus." Feeling she'd done her duty as a friend she turned attention back to the food, Lily found herself utterly delighted with the basket and the sparkle of her eyes said so ( ... )

He said nothing to the Snivilous comment. Really, he only called the boy names when he deserved it anymore ... which was often. As she spoke of the past he couldn't help but smile. She was so innocent. Nothing like him who was dirtied by pureblood lies and hatred. Idly he wondered what it would be like to be like that. To be that innocent ( ... )
