Once it seemed that all had arrived in the courtroom, the Queen wasted no time in beginning. At first, she was seemingly gentle-looking, deceptively so to those who did not know her particularly well, her fingers lazily rest upon her gavel. The moment she'd had enough of a wait, her grasp tightened and with little warning the gavel was crashing onto the podium. It was merely show. She never needed to try to earn the attention of her precious mirrors, after all ( ... )

Mia had gone into the courtroom that day knowing this was going to be one of the hardest trials of her life... or death as the case was. It had been several years, in fact, since Mia Fey had led the defense on a trial, but she'd been in a courtroom less than a year ago. Remembering procedures was never an issue for her, but since this was a trial unlike any she had ever participated in, not to mention the place was beyond strange, she had no idea what to expect ( ... )

The threads of those observing the trial go here - the audience interaction threads. Just create separate threads for separate scenarios and you will be good to go! ♥

Seely didn't really want to see this. Anyone with half a brain could tell it wouldn't end well and he hated to see something bad happen to a girl as pretty as Alice. She looked so sweet, too... What a shame really... and this courtroom didn't make for easy joke-telling times, either, which REALLY put him out.

Still, he had been ordered there, so he took a seat close to the middle where he could, hopefully, speak to someone on the other side while he waited. With any luck, he could find that cool James. Wouldn't that be a fun way to spend the next two days?

James did not really want to witness it either, but he took a deep breath and entered the courtroom anyway. Whether he wanted to or not, he would be there. Gryffindors weren't known for their bravery for nothing, after all. He had been able to do at least something to help though, in helping to find one of the pieces of evidence.

In the end, despite not wanting to watch an innocent girl on trial, James found up there a bit early. He spied someone...rather familiar toward the middle of the room and approached them curiously.

" Snape?" he asked. If he was right, he could sit by him and have someone to torment through most of the trial to take his mind off of things. And if he was wrong, well, wouldn't that be an excellent conversation starter? But, he was fairly sure he was right, but there was something about him that seemed completely off in a way that James couldn't quite explain.

And there was one now.. and blimey did he look familiar. Seely blinked a little as he was addressed by this person who looked a lot like that mean humourless git he couldn't stand and tilted his head.

"If you're looking for a guy named Snape, you'll have to look elsewhere," he commented amiably, eying his guest. "Unless someone changed my name without telling me, you've got the wrong guy. Of course in this day and age, it's entirely possible."

He frowned slightly, though. Something about this guy seemed a lot friendlier than the person he expected to see...

"Oh hey..." He lowered his voice to an almost-under-the-breath mutter. "Red Riding Hood's speaking."

Dean had tried to avoid coming to the courtroom for as long as he could, dawdling and fidgeting in his morning ritual. He had a bad feeling about the proceedings of the trial. A Star Wars level bad feeling that made the hairs on the back of his neck stand up stiffly ( ... )

Haru sat down close by, though she was going to hunt down Yori and sit with him. She knew how important Alice was to him and didn't really want to leave him alone in this stupid game the Queen was playing. Still, she could talk to other people before she went to find her friend.

She watched Dean carefully for a few moment before she said a simple and nonchalant, "Hi Dean."
