Summary: PART ONE OF ALICE'S TRIAL.
the Story:
In what was once the ballroom, a courtroom had been created. There were rows upon rows of seats for those who had been so cordially invited to the hearing, that stretched as far back as they needed to to accommodate everyone. In front of the audience were two desks, facing each other, where the prosecution and the defense would take their places. Past them was a podium where witnesses would sit to give their testimonies, facing the crowd. Just beyond the witness stand, there was a larger seat that rose high above. There is where the Queen sat, smiling at her subjects.
It appeared to be a normal court, except for one, minor detail. There was a large pane of glass that divided the room in two, down the middle of the aisle. Mirrors remained on one side of the glass, while their real versions sat on the other side. The court was perfectly divided down the middle. The queen's stand and the witness' stand seemed to be situated perfectly in the middle. A bailiff sat near to the queen, to ensure that no one disrupted the trial, and that no one disobeyed her royal highness.
The room would fill very quickly, once those on the real side realized there was literally no where else they could be. They would all be there to watch.
[ooc: There will be two sections to this trial post - the main story and the audience interactions. Everyone can see and hear across the mirrors, so have fun with that! Cause some mischief if you desire, talk to that person sitting next to you, shout over at the mirrors, have fun! Feel free to Action-thread if you would prefer that to logging in 3rd Person, but either is acceptable. The main storyline will also be split into threads, that way if someone is not there immediately, players may continue to another section. The witness testimonials will be today, unless either witness would prefer it be moved to Tuesday's half. Any posts after this log are considered to be in-between the two days, during the recess. HAVE FUN GUYS]
