first day

i put a post-it next to the phone that says "good morning, this is gateway, how may i help you?" and referred to it every time the phone rang. at some point i subconsciously moved it and then the phone rang and i looked at the blank desk and became immediately terrified and answered like "uhh... hi!"

plane leaves in 20 hours.
