I had to wade through a lake to get across the street to work.
Now, my right sock is soggy. It's gross.
I know we needed the rain, but I really hate having a wet sock all day.
It would be wild if I could've run outside, gotten all soaked and then dried off, and gone back to bed. But there's nothing wild about having to come in to work, having nothing to do at work AND having to walk around squishing. :(
This is what Montreal looked like yesterday at rush hour. Rain started pouring down on us just as we were all leaving work. I got off easy; the route I take to get home was still manageable, but others weren't so lucky.
Um, not sure. Most likely, you made an interesting comment in a journal I read. Combined with the nick and icon, it piqued my curiosity and I read a few entries in your LJ, which I enjoyed, then added it to my reading list. This is usually how it goes. I hope you don't mind that I added you without asking nor introducing myself. I didn't mean to be rude.
I don't mind, but I don't tend to add people to my mostly-friends-only journal unless I have an idea where they came from (or that they've added me in the first place ;)

Anyway, I hope y'all had a nice trip to NY. :)
