Story ideas flourish, writing... not so much

I always seem to get writing ideas in the shower. Today I was listening to David Wu's fabulous Fringemunks parody songs, so I had Fringe on the brain, and my Marvel thoughts drifted to an idle idea I had before. Depression does suck, and I felt that way about my writing last year. I did better than I thought I had when I went back and looked at everything, but I was in a real writing slump last year that was difficult to get out of.

The shower is one of the best places to get ideas and inspiration. I don't know what it is about it. It just really works.

*hugs* Sorry you've been having a hard time. Hopefully the depression eases up a little soon or already has even.

And showering (or washing dishes) seems to call out the muses. Maybe it's water? Guess I should move by the ocean

Living by the ocean would be awesome! Too bad you can't live in the ocean, then you could be a magical writing mermaid.

Saw the email notice of this when I was at work this morning and it made me laugh :)
