Most of my political reactions have been on Tumblr. As much as I'm trying to insert additional posts, of happier things and distractions, much of my posts lately have been reactions to last week's US election... and words of caution/warning signs.

This past year or so has just been a series of deep depression cycles. Given how shit I'm (still) feeling lately, I might as well have kept my stressful manager job where I at least had decent pay with good benefits, loved the students, and liked what I was doing in many ways despite the shit environment. Today I was listening to David Wu's fabulous Fringemunks parody songs, so I had Fringe on the brain, and my Marvel thoughts drifted to an idle idea I had before. I found one of my favorite movies, You Can't Take it With You (1938), yesterday at the store and bought it. Watching it right now with my mom and falling in love all over again.
