Well, I'm really fuzzy between R and PG-13 because back in my day, R was today's PG-13. So I was thinking "nudity, adult situations, implied sexual relations, language." But you're right: it's not really an R. --small smile ( ... )

Yes, Happy Christmas Eve! --smile--

And I changed the original so that Roy could have been going out with Ed without actually lying to Maes about it. --grin--

And thanks for the lj-cut codes. --grin--

Awww! I loved it! <3 Good job on your first FMA fan fiction...though it wasn't quite R-rated...tee hee, it's OK, once I actually sat and messed with the generator until I got the rating I wanted. At least you wrote it as it was given! ;)

I was really surprised when you said you were using the generator for your first FMA fan fiction. Those random pairings are hard!...I even have a few that I'm not sure I can write, even after all the stories I've dreamed up! But you did very well with this! Especially since the pairing was so unusual! I love the way you wrote Hughes...drunk Hughes, ha ha! Notice he gets drunk and still the only thing he can think about is his family! ;) I love him!

Nice! ^^ I can't wait to read more from you!

Merry Christmas! (oh, if you're interested, I posted a Christmas story to my journal here, if you're interested....though I'm not sure you've seen the episodes with one of the characters, so you might not want to. I'm completely OK with that, if that's the case! I never read fan fiction with characters I don ( ... )

Believe it or not, this really was the very first pairing I got when I clicked that generator thing. It was just fortunate that these were two characters I knew well enough to write. Some of the characters, I don't know at all, so it would be an impossible task. And I think NC-17 would be easier to write than R. --small smile-- After all, with NC-17, anything goes. But yes, you're right: this is hardly R-rated.

I think the only way Hughes would be tempted to do anything with another woman would be if he were very, very drunk. --small smile-- He's just WAY too crazy about his wife and daughter. And yes, I love Hughes, too. I was quite upset to discover in the manga that he gets killed off! --pout-- (His death is earlier in the manga than in the anime, which I have not yet seen.) Although I know you don't care for het or marriage, I actually have an idea buzzing around my head for some NC-17 involving him and Gracia. --small smile-- Guess that just sounds too white-bread for most people, but loreamara can attest that I'm really as ( ... )

--smile-- Thanks for reading this (I forgot to thank you in my first response!). And yes, I think I will try my hand again soon.

Funny that most of the FMA friends whom loreamara has want NC-17 yaoi, but I have other friends on my flist who now think that I am incapable of writing anything OTHER than NC-17 yaoi! Heh, so hopefully this will help dispell that belief ( ... )

Good story, even though I have no experience with FMA.

Oh, and thanks for the SA souvenir. It came in the mail on Saturday.

Awww, Michael! I certainly wouldn't have expected you to read such stuff, but thanks! Both for reading it in the first place and for your compliment. --smile--

I'm very glad you got the Pink Map so quickly! --grin-- I've got some South African condoms, too, if you're interested. Amazing to my American sensibilities, but in South Africa, they have free condom dispensers in a large percentage of women's restrooms. That, of course, is because RSA has the largest HIV+ population in the world (and that's saying something, considering that its general population is probably not even in the top 10!) and they are desperate to try any and everything that will combat the spread of the virus.

I really like the changes you've made! The added middle portion of the story really emphasizes both Hughes' desperation and Winry's embarrassment. It's so cute! Your writing style is really good, much more polished and professional than most fan fiction writers (But, then again, you're an English teacher so I wouldn't expect any less! ;) ) You kept both Winry and Hughes in perfect character, and made such an unusual pairing make sense! Nice job!

I can't wait for the HughesxGracia! That should be really cute! ^^ So, you're more into writing het than yaoi? It's nice that you write it, because there are hardly any other het authors out there...but you do the pairings great justice! ^-^

Heh, I realized after I went to bed last night that I told you wrong. My next pairing is going to be ROYxGracia, finding comfort in each other's arms after Hughes' death. But it will take a rather unexpected (I hope!) turn.

Actually, I've written far more yaoi than het in the past (with male vampires . . . I'm finding it far more difficult with mortal men, for some reason --small smile--), though I've always enjoyed all forms of sexuality (including yuri). I've written threesomes (both mixed and yaoi), as well.

Maybe one reason I have het on my mind lately is simply because I want to stretch myself by attempting to write more conventional pairings without becoming tedious. Heh, now, though, since you've never read any of my yaoi pairings, maybe I ought to try for some of those. Hmmmmm.

Really? You write vampire stories? That's so cool! ^^ They're based off the vampire chronicles, right? I should probably read those sometime...Kristin let me borrow "Interview with a Vampire", and I really liked it! <3 I like all types of pairings...het least of all, except when it's unconventional like this story! RoyxGracia also sounds good! Actually, I'll pretty much read anything except EdxWinry and RoyxRiza...lol, things that are overdone just get on my nerves! >.< But WinryxHughes is yummy...tee hee!

Good luck with your next story! (And you do have to try fma yaoi soon!)
