I was faced with the same dilemma to which you refer of making it NC-17 if I went more graphic. But then, I don't think that Winry's description to him of what happened (even if he had groped her or, eh, done something else) would have included those details. I guess I could write another part, this time from Winry's point-of-view, and describe something more R-rated. --grin--
I was afraid this would come off as too sappy. Is it? I know it skirts the edge of sappiness, even if it doesn't actually take the plunge. (So if you think it's sappy, you won't hurt my feelings. --small smile--)
And yes, Roy is a bastard. --grin-- But as he said, a man has to have priorities. In my original planning, I was thinking that Roy could be out with Ed (hence, the reason Winry would find herself alone in the library in the Eastern Command Center --smirk--), but I just don't think Roy would have left Maes on Christmas Eve so he could be with Ed. Heh, maybe he actually was with Ed, but he just didn't want to tell that to Maes, what do you think? --grin--
