So yesterday, my father received the hearing aides that we finally convinced him to get tested for and get. It was getting to the point where I could not be on the same floor of our house when he watched TV, because it would make my ears ring, and eventually, actually. physically. HURT. That's really sweet. Admitting having a problem must have been hard for him, but having that barrier between him and others must have been harder on him than he may have realized for him to be this happy now. Yay for him and your family.

Your dad could be a role model for mine. Lordy...his TV volume is way absurdly high too. Maybe your father will be an inspiration for us all!

Seriously though, I'm really glad that your father appears to love his "new little gadgets" cause that means he's glad he's got them (and I'm sure you are too!). Thanks for sharing. :)
