Why is it that when I finally thought I was almost done, when I was starting to let myself collapse, that things got piled on again? I'm f-ing tired, and not in a sleepy way, but getting to a bone-deep sort of way. I have a week and a half to be done with at least a first draft of my thesis and portfolio. 12 more days. 7-9 more days to work on the thesis/portfolio. So... close... and so far away... I love my Eddie. She is the most wonderful elderly rat ever. Especially when she snuggles in my sweatshirt and closes her eyes and lifts her head up when I pet her head. And when she vibrates (called bruxing, aka rat purring), which sometimes makes her eyeballs bulge. hee hee.

I should be thesis-writing. It feels so daunting right now. I'm kind of cranky about it all, but less so than two days ago, when the universe was hating me. Jaci & Russell & Mimosas are great.
