Using an LJ app almost perverts the process. However, I guess it's fitting enough. So much about my life and who I am is so, so far away from whatever it was back then, back when LJ was my only real outlet, that it makes sense that using it is just as completely new and fresh. Growing up is a trap.
We have to choose a speech to analyze for class Tuesday night. This is a commencement speech given by Tom Robbins in the 90s. As far as I know, no recording of it exists. Robbins is hands down my favorite author, but I had no knowledge of this address prior to last night.

Having a boyfriend and being a mom absolutely killed my writing. Shaina, you have to just do it. The only way to write is to write.
