hp_coffeehouse Prompt No. 71 -
Paradise in a CupSummary: Harry longs for a tropical holiday.
Harry left Dragon Brew with his Long Black and his pique. He Apparated as near the Ministry as possible and entered the building. In no time he was settled at his desk with a pile of paperwork in front of him.
Harry reached for his favorite quill only to come up empty. He frowned and searched around his desk and on the floor to no avail. Harry slouched back in his chair and scowled. "Ron," he grumped. "Bloody hell." He'd known there would be retribution for stealing something from his friend's office. Harry grabbed an inferior quill and got to work.
He'd made a fairly decent dent in his paperwork by the time he ran out of coffee from Dragon Brew. Harry could think of no good excuse to go back; therefore he was compelled to fetch a cup of the Ministry's inferior brew.
Harry returned to his office, sat, and blew a breath across the surface of his cup. It created a warm breeze. Bored with work, Harry began fantasizing about being on holiday, somewhere that warm breezes were the norm. Perhaps some place tropical, with sandy beaches and gentle ocean waves. And a hot blond. Harry's eyes fluttered closed as he imagined sharing that beach with Malfoy.
They could rub oil all over one another's...
Harry's reverie was broken when Ron sauntered past his office. Ron, the quill thief. Harry shoved his chair back and dashed off in pursuit, calling out, "Oy! Weaselbee!"
