I feel bad for the interns dealing with the inpatients at this time of the year. They have contests with each other to see which floor of the hospital can decorate their front desk better than the other. There's the cupids, plastic hearts, but nothing original. Missing one semester for the chance of a higher paying internship with more opportunities seemed like a good trade-off at first. Don't get me wrong, the experience and with what I've learned definitely made it all worth while.
