Missing one semester for the chance of a higher paying internship with more opportunities seemed like a good trade-off at first. Don't get me wrong, the experience and with what I've learned definitely made it all worth while. But in the light of the economy and the fact that with a small clinic like that in the South, there's not much funding that could get through.
Which leaves me coming back to Mishima and San Francisco for the Spring Semester. Hopefully they still have a slot in their internship program at the Hospital for me, otherwise I might as well steal a couple of medical supplies and set up shop at the nearest street corner. By the sound of things that happened recently, the city would probably need something like that. (Just no severed limbs, I'm still not past that point in training yet.)
I think I'll let myself take it easy tonight, look around and see if things really did change as much as I think it did. There's not so many familiar faces around anymore, so it seems like I have to start from scratch again.
