[That last post? He does not remember any of it. Or most of it. Not even the creepy game of horrific death. He doesn't have the journal portion of his journal equipment - just the communicator - and has been sleeping since he made his long, rambling post that will shame him horrifically later

Well, I'm guessing you don't remember how stoned you were yesterday. She'd died, but the Doctor didn't bring her here to revive.
And I don't think that's a good idea, Severus.

Then again, he hadn't seen her in a week.]
Am I forgiven, then?
Reply
[And he was forgiven, but that didn't mean that she wasn't angry. She had loads to be angry for, and dying was one of them. But she hadn't seen him in a week and he'd been killed in front of her and this week was complete rubbish and damn it, she was kissing him, when he was her patient, again.
Oh well.]

And there were still things to be said.]
If I thought for a moment you'd go, I'd ask you to come with me, you know.
Reply
I'd rather not visit you in Azkaban, you know. Jail house romances aren't really my thing.
[There was a quick flash of grin, and she sighed softly. Why on earth did this need to be so complicated?]
Reply
I won't ask, in that case.
[There was a pause, followed by a not-unkind scoff.]
Most people only say they'll move heaven and earth for one another, you know. People will mistake us for the romantic sort.

But she knew that she'd go with him if that was the only option that she'd had. If nothing else, she'd ask one of the Doctors to see if there would be a way for her to move of communicate between their worlds. Or the Admiral... that might work.
Martha's brain was working, and it showed on her face. She was going to solve this and fix it; she just didn't know quite how yet.]
I don't know about you, Severus Snape, but I am the romantic sort.
Reply
[He certainly wasn't going anywhere any time soon; though there had been some progress with Mozenrath, he was under no illusions that the end was in sight - and, despite Martha's romantic intentions, the more time ahead of them, the less he expected any of their schemes to matter.
Not that he would make mention of that particular thought to her. Still, to be thinking so far ahead what absurd when there were matters here to dealt with now.]
You aren't frightened, are you? Of Saxon?
[He was not referring to that man as the Master any longer.]

And then he'd tortured her to death, and she'd done something that she'd really regretted and he remembered all that now and she had very little doubt that he would suddenly decide that it was a very good idea that he should use it against her. Taking a deep breath, she shook her head.]
No, not really.
[Truth and a lie and it showed. After all, the last time she wasn't frightened enough of him, he'd nearly killed Judas while she watched... just because he could.]

The last time we talked of this, I told you not to allow him to continue to victimize you in memory. That does include all of his little torments, Martha. If you fear him, you give him control.

[Martha always meant to seem all right in the infirmary, even when horrible things happened. With Severus here and the conversation they'd already been have, this was the closest that Martha had been to not all right, and she didn't want to talk about it, or Saxon, anymore. Later, maybe, but for now Martha had twenty people in the infirmary and she needed to focus on them.]
But I'll be fine, really.
[Reassuring voice, and a calm smile. Martha would be fine, eventually, even if she was a rather horrible liar.]

She hadn't wanted to talk about it in private, either - though a year before, she'd been quite willing to do so while he was sitting in a cell. Martha had a very strange definition of the appropriateness of any given time or place.
However, it wasn't the time or place to start arguing with her about it.]
Suit yourself.

A part of her wondered if guilt was giving him power over her as well.
Time focus on something else, then.]
Is one more day really so terrible?
Reply
[He tried to keep the doubt out of his tone, but it seeped in anyhow. He didn't think he had any grounds to push her regarding this - or anything else - at the moment, but...knowing her, she'd avoid it until it festered.
He waved his hand dismissively.]
Nevermind.

Martha believed in things being equal and fair and for a moment, the decision was on her face before she nodded and sighed.]
Tomorrow, when we're not in the infirmary, yeah?
Reply
[He kept his tone neutral; she didn't need to feel he was using guilt to manipulate her into talking to him.]
Don't ignore it as you did last time.
