Someone on the ample-knitters wrote:I'm doing the calculations for the shaped side panels - With a 54" hip, using the divide by 32 then multiply by 2 ends me up with casting on about 3 stitches! The waist & bust are 1 or 2 stitches. . .this really doesn't seem right ( Read more... )

I have the book at home, so I can scan the pattern in the book tomorrow and send it to you, if you like. It's your pattern after all. :)

I was going to say that I could "check", but I woudln't know what i was looking for.

My copy is supposed to arrive by "the end of the month" but a scan of the page with the formulas on it would be helpful.

Well, the original is: cast on (hip in inches - 32)x2 -- I hope her eyes are just bad and it's truly minus sign.
