Apparently I have completely lost the ability to make people coming door-to-door with religion go away. For whatever reason, I want to be nice to them, but don't actually want to talk to them. I do get them to go away, but apparently something about how I get them to go away makes them come back another time.

OK, so... leaving my house involves a left turn at a T intersection from a small side street (with stop sign) onto a slightly busier street. Hooray for Teh Intarweb! Where I learn that my kid is autistic because... I had rhogam shots during pregnancy, and those have mercury in, and we all know what that means! Hey, wrog, better prepare for another tangerine baby, because I've had more rhogam this time!

I don't know how the "OMG THE MMR VACCINE MAKES KIDS AUTISTIC" folks (and boy, there are an awful lot of them) explain things like the UW study where specialists from their early autism treatment program watched video from the first birthdays of a number of children, and were able to tell from those videos which of the kids had grown up to get ASD ( Read more... )
