Update on the Vagina Monologues Dates this month in the Chapel Hill area. There will be performances Feb. 15th and 16th at the Hanes Art Center on UNC's campus. I have become an NPR addict as of late. I am trying to boycott tv and this is my refuge. I went to the website today to open the live feed from WUNC and noticed two essays posted as part of something called "This I Believe". It appears that this semester will not kick my ass nearly as much as last semester did. I hd my first class meetings yesterday and while the courses will be challenging, the workload doesn't seem to be quite as overwhelming. I've got an interview with the public health law firm on Tuesday! It's 15-20 hours per week, which is low, but I think it's a good place for me to be right now. I'll know more about it after the interview.

I am jobhunting, cleaning, reading, and have a marathon of America's Next Top Model on in the background. I haven't gone outside much and feel like I am wasting my days, but at the same time I am getting stuff done from where I am. Aside from the load of crap that is currently going on, I have good news. My grades are posted and I got "P's" in all of my classes (the UNC grad school equivalent of a "B"). I was told by the second years at orientation that Fall semester is harder than Spring the first year, so that gives me some comfort. Yay me.

Things could be better.
