Words of Wisdom
I have become an NPR addict as of late. I am trying to boycott tv and this is my refuge. I went to the website today to open the live feed from WUNC and noticed two essays posted as part of something called "This I Believe". I want to post two of them because they address issues that are very near to my heart, and I believe many others struggle with just as much as I do. The writers reference religion, but it's in a way that is not accusatory or oppressive, and I know that the people who read my LJ have open minds. The essays are below:
