Rebuilding Together (New Orleans) works under the larger umbrella organization of the Preservation Resource Center. I really like both and the Preservation Resource Center is really cool because they try to save all the old, historic buildings in New Orleans from being demoed by the city (which I think they like to do a lot, especially post-Katrina ( Read more... )

so i officially miss my hair. it took about a month and a half for this to happen, though, so i think that means i getting better at not being so attached to it... ha. attached.
it's probably because it needs to be reshaped anyway and then i'll go back to not caring one way or another.

today i walked to work and saw a man walking two dogs and a pot belly pig.

I have other fun stories from my day working with a group of very stereotypical New York Jewish women but I am too tired to share them.
