I wish I could do a better movie trailer voice impression

1 movie left to guess on the IMDB keyword meme.

On the technology front, is anyone else on my f-list a mac user? I find myself desirous of an m4a to mp3 converter that'll work on a mac.

But what I really wanted to do was give in and make a completely useless post that I've been wanting to do for a little while now. You have now been warned of ( Read more... )

movies, bourne, technology, just shut up orlando, should i just make a gilroy tag?

lol I watched Ultimatum today on HBO, and I remember seeing 'making of' things about how they did the chase and fight scenes for it. I'm not sure at all how it compares to the first two movies but from what I could pay attention to between cooking and kids it looked. Kinda like a freeforall with fists and various household objects.

Though god, GOD, sometimes I don't understand fandom at all. I usually stay on the edges and look at things and don't really participate, but a lot of the time the things I see just have me gaping in horror.

It's the best one~ (though not by much! and having seen the first two is probably a good thing)
The difference between the fight scenes in Identity, which was directed by Doug Liman, and the second two, which are Greengrass, isn't so much the actual fights. Even in Identity you've got surprising usage of desktop items and suchlike, all quite "everything can be a weapon." It's the way the fights are handled. One of the things I admire most about Greengrass is that he doesn't put music over fights. He just uses the sound of the fight itself. To me, this makes the violence significantly less romanticized.
Also, lol, you get Greengrass' infamous camerawork.

Yeeeaaah, what part of "these two characters genuinely want to kill each other" leads to "omg they'd have hot sex"? >.<

So I've heard~.

Yeah, the distinct lack of orchestra accompaniment was nice. When someone is punching someone else in the face through a book, that's really all the percussion you need.

I have a feeling I need to watch more Greengrass.

ffffff idk man idk. I'm still trying to wrap my head around Firefly fandom's strange proclivities. \@n@/

Well, I at least am a bit of a biased source.

Exactly my feelings.

So do I, really. I just know Supremacy and Ultimatum. But I understand the people who have problems with, like, motion sickness from the camerawork. I am not one of them, but I understand them.

I don't want to know, do I.

And I need to get to bed. Good night!

YES BUT, in your youtube crawls, did you find any HILARIOUS CROSSOVER VIDS? Because those are seriously my favorite-most-bizarre-and-incomprehensible part of fandom. (Why should Peter Petrelli and Elizabeth Bennet have a great and destined time-traveling love? Perhaps the answer is, WHY NOT!)

...I do not believe I know you, presumably-madam.

But please do not tempt me to be the first to make one. For the lulz, of course.

Pleasure to make your acquaintance, also-presumably-madam!

I am afraid, however, I cannot do ask you ask and refrain from tempting you to make one for the lulz. >:D Because the lulz, they are INDEED GREAT.

It is madam, here, and the pleasure is a shared one!

...I suspect said lulz would be exponentially multiplied if the other fandom in question were, in fact, Code Lyoko.
