And they're NOT psychosomatic or even vaguely related to some kind of hidden passion I have for Lisa Cuddy, they are REAL. GRARGH. ITCHY

0. LOL I approve of the new numbering system. Clearly I'm not sleeping even though I was so proud that I would be. I'm going now though, HONESTLY. (I turned off iTunes because it threatened to go into a Julia loop, and we all know where THAT leads.)

7. Did you take French in high school? She pretty much enunciates the way someone who ISN'T a native speaker would, which is probably why I could understand her at all. She basically thanks them for validating her life's work, which is awfully sweet of her. ♥

7. Oooh, Spanish! I guess it's been years since you've had to use it? I'm surprised I managed to retain enough of my French to understand the speech actually - I guess it probably helps that English and French are a lot closer in terms of words used and even pronunciation than other languages!

1. WTF, how did that mosquito fly with its wings frozen solid?! I think it's monsoon season now i.e., getting colder and wetter, which makes the mozzies happy. And me VERY unhappy. I need my sister back to distract them from me, dammit!

7. REALLY? Dude. That's so strange. Most people think French is pretty and, say, German sounds awful. I used to think that, though I've gained an appreciation for German now (I blame Wicked, Willemijn Verkaik and Sal for pushing Pia Douwes and Elisabeth on me).

4. I know what you mean - the Dreamworks animated movies are PARTICULARLY cracktastic and on some kind of speed. But those... fit together better, or felt that way anyway. Like Shrek worked fine narratively, even though it still felt it had ADD. Madagascar 2? Imagine that, times a THOUSAND.

1. I hear you. I have this theory that the bites only itch when you find them. Of course, this is an unproveable theory since if you don't find them how do you know they're there. Go me and my circular reasoning. I wish it was warm enough for mosquitoes here. It's fucking cold today. I think I saw snow flurries.

3. I just had a huge "cosmo" cupcake from crumbs. I promised Diana (you know...my NaNo that's N2N fanfic?) a cupcake if she actually talked to me and "wrote" something at the write-in today. And man did she deliver. And yes, i know how crazy this makes me sound. Feeding a non-entity for word count.

6. I have a stack of magazines I bought solely for info on Julianne Moore. And I do not critique. After all, I'm super excited about Twilight next Saturday morning (the cheap tickets). We win? LOL.

1. LOL at the circular reasoning! All I know is that the bites itch something AWFUL. I really hope the mozzies are gone by the time I get home tonight, urgh. And eek for cold! January is going to be ARCTIC.

6. Yay! I've always been a bit of a magazine hoarder anyway, and if my favourite actresses or actors are in it, I'm far more likely to buy it than not. So... *sighs at the number of magazines I'll have to buy with Oscar season coming up*

Ooh Twilight! I haven't read the books but am probably going to see the movie anyway. :D
