"Father, why do these words sound so nasty?"

1. Oh god, I was the laziest bastard at work EVER today. I don't even KNOW what I was doing. I mean, I read everything I had to and am all caught up from the weekend, which is awesome. But I'm pretty sure I spent at least three hours ASLEEP. FAIL. Not to mention the time I spent spazzing online. You know, THIS is why I still leave work at 10pm even ( Read more... )

7. I plan to get up half an hour earlier on Wednesday morning and start my day with CNN. Even though there probably won't be many results in by then, but I am so ridiculously excited about this election, it borders on insanity. Glad to hear I'm not the only non-American who feels that way. ;)

SLEEP!

7. Good. I'm SO glad that I'm not the only person who has this dorky obsession with American politics. I've had it for YEARS, I must admit, though it's fallen a bit by the wayside what with work sapping my brain of all energy etc. But I'm still excited to just sit and watch results come in, and see how the electoral map shapes up. EEK.

You're going to start the day with CNN? It doesn't quite work out for you timing-wise, right? It's kind of perfect for me because it'll be morning for me when the results start coming in from 9pm or so onwards.

Clearly... not sleeping. *cries*

Uhm... if I get up at 6am, it'll be midnight on the east coast, so I guess the first results will be in by then. Guess I'll have to follow it all online when I'm at work. God, I hope there will BE results soon, nothing of that election-of-2000 crap, where we didn't know for days what was going on.

I kinda miss you. Feels like we haven't comment-spammed in ages! I do read your entries though. :)

Oh yeah, that makes sense - it explains why I was able to follow the election from the UK in 2000. That was all kinds of insane, but I actually LOVED following it - crazy six weeks of not knowing what the heck was happening and having the election called for Bush then Gore then NOBODY then... hee. Am such a dork!

And *hugs*! I miss you too! I've missed my flist this past weekend and I'm BAD with comments now because of life!fail, but it feels like I haven't chatted with YOU properly in ages. D: I do read too!

DUDE, ANYONE WHO MAKES ENOUGH NOISE GETS A TAG EVENTUALLY. ;)

AND I HAVE NO ANSWER FOR WHY MERYL IS AWESOME. SHE JUST NEEDS TO STOP PWNING MY BRAIN SO I CAN GO BACK TO LIFE. (Actually, scratch that. WHO WANTS TO GO BACK TO FAILY LIFE, ANYWAY.)

YES PLZ skip work for the election! I love love love my international copyright professor for giving us Tuesday night off "because we will all be a little preoccupied." So I will be constantly refreshing CNN.com ...while watching CNN. *nerd*

Also! I want to go to that Eden Cafe place! It sounds like yum. So, you know, I'll keep that in mind for the next time I'm...in Singapore. Sigh.

You're off voting now!! *excitement* I love how we're all nerds. Shall be nerdy with you while at work tomorrow. I've already decided. :D

EDEN. You should definitely come. I think you'd LOVE the food they serve here - it's nice and light, but with a really fresh twist on a lot of the dishes. Mmmmm. Now I'm hungry. D:

I never stay up to watch the results. I almost always prefer to go to bed early on Election Day and just wake up to the results. I always figure there's nothing I can do, so let what will be, be. I mailed in my ballot two weeks ago. My part is done.

Awwww, timezone wise it works out best for me here though - exactly 12-13 hours apart means I can watch the results come in during the day. Fun. :D Yay you for voting 2 weeks ago!! \o/

2. Sounds about as nutritious as my dinner will be.

3. Tracking? What is this tracking you speak of? A whole concert? What about one little song??? *bats eyelashes pitifully*

5. I'll probably do it later. :P

7. I think it's cool. I'll be watching returns at church. We rock!

2. LOL, I'm not sure this is a good thing!

3. Eeek. I just realised that I must've downloaded the file you sent me but I can't FIND it now. I think I might have deleted it when my computer was giving me problems and I was desperately trying to free up space to get it to work again. D: Sorry! If you'll send it by, I'll download and cut out the relevant part ASAP.

5. Go ahead. :D

7. WE DO. Excited!

3. Ok. Let me find it. I'm sure I still have it...somewhere. LOL.

5. Being wired for sound since I've been up since 4 and am on my 6th diet Coke of the day...I'm sure I will. I don't even want to think about what I'll be like at the concert tomorrow!!
