1. Oh god, I was the laziest bastard at work EVER today. I don't even KNOW what I was doing. I mean, I read everything I had to and am all caught up from the weekend, which is awesome. Awww thank you! And I agree, it's been NICE to be downright laaazy for a while. So unhealthy with the chips and cookies though. *cries*

I love the smell of summer rain too - it makes me think of holidays and warmth and happiness. Too bad we're now firmly into winter rain and drizzle season here in London now ;)

OMIGOD YES PLZ. Well, not necessarily BUB, but we HAVE to see something together. :D It'd be so amazing to flail over the films that got us talking to each other in the first place, all those years ago!!!

As awesome as the performances at that show were, Meryl's "Sodomy" takes the prize. To hear her sing that -- priceless. Only wish I could've seen it live.

I cannot get OVER Meryl's key change on the last long held note of "Everyooooooooooone!" She's amazing. And needs to be on Broadway now. I think I might actually die if she headlined a musical LIVE. DIE.

there was one more funny moment, but I still can't distinguish what she was told by the journalist. It is when she replied "oh my God, I'm so sorry, I hate people to do that". Can you help me with it, dear?) did you hear clear what exactly she hates when people do?))

That moment was great - I think the reporter had mentioned that her speech took four whole minutes, and she was surprised about that, and then she joked that she hated people who do that i.e., go on and on at awards ceremonies and refusing to stop talking! Does that make sense?
