Ugh! im so embarrassed my fingers are all tingly and shaky. Ugh, Im editing this doc written by another non-native speaker. I like doing this, the slow reading and careful extraction of meaning lets me learn a lot from a bonified expert in the field, but it is exhausting! I'm usually into petitioning, Im not convinced it works, but I guess this touches pretty close to home and feel like nothing is really lost by doing it. I put a link the WP article about one of our scholars being imprisoned in Iran last week and deprived of medication and contact, and there is now an online petition to ask for her release.
