I'm usually into petitioning, Im not convinced it works, but I guess this touches pretty close to home and feel like nothing is really lost by doing it. I put a link the WP article about one of our scholars being imprisoned in Iran last week and deprived of medication and contact, and there is now an online petition to ask for her release. It would look better if ppl not at the WWICS were also signing, just a thought.
