I'm feeling like a junior high girl right now. Hopeless. That's how this has developed. And still I'm giddy with infatuation.

Bring on the crooked teeth, bad haircut, and size zero body. Then I can revert to Mr. Brecht's homeroom class. Just don't spit on the front of me when you talk.

Last night I took Morgan with me to see The Juliana Theory, Jamison Parker, June, and The Fury. The best performance, by far, was the opening band, The Fury. The vocalist is beautiful, physically, and performance-wise. He is reminiscent of 70s rock gods...particularly David Bowie. The rest of the band is extremely talented as well. Music seems like nothing to me anymore. Everything sounds like rehashed, less imaginative copies of each other. There's about five bands I can listen to over and over again, but it feels like I'm slowly killing them when I do so. I just want to find some more. Ones that don't sounds like the same old-same old.
