I had a pedicure today done by a teenage/early 20s boy. Random job for someone like him. I think it might be a family business or something. But he was good, and when another lady came in she even said, "Oh you're lucky. He's really good." I always feel so terrible getting pedicure. I do not have pretty feet and it's kind of embarrassing. I remember five cent stamps. Now I hear there's a "forever" stamp.

Yeah, I saw that. I still had 12 regular stamps though, so I just bought the 2 cent ones. I rarely use stamps anymore, with online bill pay.

I could imagine myself having the exact same conversation in my head during the pedicure. We are much too hard on ourselves. But, yay for hot pink! :)

My sister says there is no way they have conversations like that over and over every single day. Talking about customers gets boring fast according to her. So that's good.

I love pedicures so much. I wish I could afford to get them weekly. Or at least every two weeks. I don't need to have a lot of money. I would just like enough to afford a weekly housekeeper, and a weekly pedicure. That's all I need. :)

I hear that! I totally am to have someone come once a week or so to clean my house. Definitely. That will be a mark of my success to me, when I can afford that.

I'd be happy with pedicures once a month. :)

My heels get so rough. It's genetic, all the women in my family have rough heels. Robert, who doesn't even give a second thought to his feet, doesn't want to wear cute, heel-less shoes, and has never given them any attention in his life, has perfectly smooth, nice heels. Oh, the injustice.

But yeah, my heels, eek. They need twice-a-month pedicures to keep nice. That's why they mostly don't look nice. :(

I tend to wear flip flops all the time in the summer, and my heels get really rough and icky and black. Ugh. I use a pumice stone on them every time I'm in the shower, and that helps a lot though. In the winter when I usually wear shoes with socks, I notice my heels are really pretty good. I think wearing open shoes must make them worse or something.
