[Remy nods as he hears Erol bark orders. He decides to speak to soften the harshness a little. He turns to the wounded]

If you are leaving, DO NOT GO ALONE and get out as quick as you can. DO NOT SEPARATE FROM YOUR GROUP. We'll send a healer when we can, do your best to stay alive. Your help is appreciated.

If anyone cannot move, I can get you out now.

[The Red Mage moves over to Remy.]

I can heal some of the wounds, but not everything will be covered but a good deal of the pain will be gone.

[She knows she doesn't have much magic left and will be taking a giant risk by using Convert afterwards.]

I see.

[He thinks for a moment.]

Go with them on the way out. You can still attack something if anything happens. If not you can heal when they're all outside. Can I trust you with that?

I'll try my best.

[She gave a nod and the Bastok salute, which she moved her left arm out and bent the elbow, her hand in a fist.

After that, she moved away to help some of the others.]

[Gideon sighs. He sure as hell doesn't want to leave-- but he's bleeding and getting weaker by the second, even if Kate's singing was helping him not feel most of it. He grunts and stands, cradling his side.]

Yes sir. I'm afraid I should be one of the ones licking my wounds and getting the hell out.

[He starts looking for a group, if anyone else is doing the same. While the rest of them mill about, he says just a few more words.]

Good luck, everyone. Sorry I couldn't do more. I'll help carry out anyone who needs help, otherwise I can take a...

...a body. Shit.

[Hurt Gideon? No more! Have a Cure III spell sent your way!]

Healing winds, grow even stronger & heal my friend! Cure III!

[Gideon will find himself surrounded by white magic, circling around him before falling to the ground and vanishing.]

You did good enough and hopefully this will help you with getting out!

[Gideon blinks in the utmost of surprise. He's amazed as is flesh seems to... mend itself, the pain slowly ebbing. He allows himself a slight groan of relief.]

Thanks a lot... Cat. I appreciate this greatly.

[He gives her a kind, thankful smile.]

You're welcome.

[She gave a nod before looking for others who needed a Cure spell or perhaps, if knocked unconcious, Raise spell.]

[When Asad comes out of the forest, he surveys the damage present and he smiles. A few dead bodies, blood and bits of flesh here and there, ruined bears and the ground torn up by the claws and boots of panicked, fleeing passengers. He walks calmly over to where a bear's eyes still gleam and he kneels down, stroking one hand over its bloodied fur.]

Shayn, my sweet, I'm going to restock the cupboards.

[He leans forward and kisses the bear's forehead and then draws a knife made of bone from a sheath among many on his belt. Asad hums lightly as he picks up a large rock--and promptly cracks open Warren's skull with a wet noise. The eyeballs come out and into his pockets, and then Asad kneels over the torso and zip-zip-zip, his bone knife cuts clean, precise strokes.

The body cavity opens up and Asad gets to the bloody business of relieving Warren's corpse of its heart, a chunk of its liver, certain glands, tongue and other small torso organs.

The ground steams as Asad hums and softly sings a bouncy tune to himself.Moi je joue ( ... )

[He strafes across the ground cautiously, low in stature, low in posture. It smells of death, reeks of it; it's tremendous. His harp hangs in the back, but here it'll do nothing. The weaving of tales will tell of all and nothing except the unfortunate deaths and sacrifices. The blade would be nicer to have.

Erol's barking voice echoes in his ears. They've had to work together. It's repulsive. Sheik has placed aside his personal loathing for the man, however, in favor of the ship. They can fight afterward. They can fight after the recovery. Still, it irks him. He's following the orders of... himThe voice captures his attention. This must be the man they're seeking. Asad. The other half to Shayn. Is this who they've baited out? Blond eyebrows knit together and he presses himself into the ground, using the body of a dead bear for any defensive maneuvers. The smell makes him want to wretch. If he needs to, he'll fake his death. Asad's busy, though, and Sheik takes it as his cue to leave with the extraction of the heart... among other ( ... )

Then we haven't much time until we lose track of him again. Thank you.

[He teleports to Midna's side.]

Asad's back where Warren dropped. Are you ready?

[Sparing words, she nods and touches Remy's back, relying on his ability to carry her there.

Finally, they can put their plan into action.]

He's yet to lose one. We'll find her.

[She says as she proudly pets her puppy, eyes baring down into Erol's. Challenging him to insist he might have this time. That her puppy isn't up to snuff.

She. Dares. You.]

[Erol meets her gaze, unimpressed for all of her height difference. This bullshit has no place in the field. This is the sort of nonsense that gets men killed. His reply is short, to the point, and utterly dismissive.]

See that you do.

[Unprofessional. IDIOTS.]

[OH GOD THOSE BATS TASTED SO NASTY. Link doesn't have any water to drink to get rid of this taste, but oh well. That'll have to wait. Luckily, the bats didn't damage anything vital or draw too much blood; his thick fur had prevented too much breaking of the skin, so most of his wounds were superficial and itched and stung more than hurt. He was fine.

Link glances up at Midna before nodding, and immediately goes to start sniffing around to pick up the trail again. It's harder with all the new blood, but he'd find it, if only to prevent what seems like will be a fight. Goodness me these people and their egos.]

[Lily keeps her eyes riveted on Link, arms crossed, flipping the knife idly over her fingers. One arm is covered in blood from three long gashes. Steam pours from the open wounds, and they appear to be healing nicely.

If Link doesn't find Shayn, Lily will do it herself. She wants Shayn dead. Dead. Lily trusted her. Lily believed her. She stops flipping the knife and holds the grip tightly, so tight her knuckles turn white. If Link could receive telepathic messages, his brain would explode from the amount of "FIND IT" Lily's practically radiating.]

I will keep watch and stay at your side. I have never encountered these "other residents" of Carnival, but should anyone makes attacks against us, it will be their end.

[The alien's words are flat and without mercy. He will make good on them if it comes to that.]

*Erol smirks up at the alien creature.*

Were I to hand-pick a group for this job instead of merely attempting to herd a mob of amateurs, you would be at the top.

You've seen combat back home. At war with someone?

*It's not really a question.*

That is because I am not physically weak like the lot of these humans, nor is my mind so easily fogged by terror. I am terror. The human race was on the verge of bending to my will--the will of the Prophets-- when I was transported... here.

[He growls lightly.]

And not just a war with someone-- a war with an entire race. The humans have been targeted by my Gods for extermination, and thus began years of brutal conflict. I am my leader's right hand, but I am also a leader.

That goes without saying, of course.

*No kidding, The Arbiter was a powerhouse. Erol wouldn't want to go up against him without some heavy artillery.*

Sounds like home, though neither us nor the Metal Heads had a religious agenda. They just wanted our Eco - ah, energy supplies.

*He's pretty sure the Metal Heads weren't on a jihad. Were they?

Erol seems unbothered by the fact that they appear to have come from opposite sides of a similar conflict.*
