[It's not exactly possible for Ridley to beat them to Carnival, nor is he exactly a creature of subtlety when he makes his appearances. Deck 4 is, however, his home and Carnival has been a subject of interest for him. Erol will find himself being closely watched by the mutant pterodactyl from a small distance. He intends to follow inside and watch the fireworks that ensue.]

[Erol notes that he is being watched, because giant pterodactyl thing? Not subtle. But there are stranger things on the boat than Ridley (he actually looks a bit like a Metal Head), so unless approached or spoken to Erol will continue his irritable pacing for a little longer.

Normally, he might approach the alien, but right now he has a few other items on his mind.]

[Azula didn't waste a lot of time getting ready. So she's arriving within the ten minutes, snapping the last piece of her armor in place. Erol's pacing and there's an oversized Canyon Crawler over there in the corner. This is going to be weird.]

Looks like someone is ready to cause some destruction.

[Ridley merely snorts. Peh. Two humans, gathered together. A male and female. No doubt some sort of mating ritual. And here he had been hoping for something interesting. Perhaps it's better he simply leave these two fleshlings to their devices.]

[Arbiter is there only a minute or so after Erol broadcasts. He knows military formality and discipline; you never keep your team or your superiors waiting. And 'Moramee certainly doesn't want to miss a chance for some action.

He waits for Erol to address him.]

[Erol doesn't keep Ripa waiting. He has immense respect for the alien's fighting capacity.

Maybe he should explain his behavior. Yes, and why doesn't he complain about how mother never paid enough attention to him while he's at it.

He nods in acknowledgment.]

There are few I'd rather have watching my back in there than yourself.
