It's a Sonata

After a couple months of research and a marathon session of paperwork, I finally purchased my new car today. It's a 2006 Hyundai Sonata GLS (4 cylinders) in deepwater blue.

Drove it to work for the first time this morning. It was really quiet on the highways and I liked it.

Good visibility and all, my only gripe so far is that the suspension & seat padding don't handle older segmented highways as well as our other cars. Ok, ok, I paid half of the cost of the Landrover and a quarter of the Mercedes, heh. I know I shouldn't expect the same level of performance.

Other than that, I'll need to get used to driving it. Our other cars are SUV's and situated high off the ground. It's a big different "sitting" on the road.

I'll post my impressions as I drive the car more. Economically, it was definitely a good initial buy. We'll see how well it holds up under scrutiny.
