It's a Sonata
After a couple months of research and a marathon session of paperwork, I finally purchased my new car today. It's a 2006 Hyundai Sonata GLS (4 cylinders) in deepwater blue.

I really like it. Overall ride is pretty smooth and quiet. There is a bit of engine noise at high RPM's, but it doesn't bother me at all. What really sold me on the vehicle was the long list of standard safety features - ABS, stability control, curtain airbags - as well as the warranty. To top it off, it cost $3-4k less than a comparably equipped Accord or Camry. While the vehicle doesn't have the same reputation for quality as Honda or Toyota, the 2006 Sonata has garnered a number of awards and positive reviews including JD Powers & Associates best initial car value. Only time will tell if I made a good buy or got suckered into a lemon.
