Ack, curse my abnormally dark monitor! I hate how what looks good on my computer actually looks like crap on the majority of monitors. Bleck. Anyway, I've been experimenting, so a lot of these are much darker than my usual icons, to compensate for my computer's darker moniter. Well, here's Our Mutual Friend and Daniel Deronda, as requested. The OMF icons were a right pain in the arse though -- I had one hell of a time fighting with those bloody caps, and even then I deleted half of the ones I made. grar. Calling all costume drama lovers!
As everyone here knows, I have a great love of both icon-making and of costume/period dramas. So, after seeing all these lovely communities committed to excellent iconage of their favourite fandoms, shows, etc., I though that costume and period drama deserved some love, too.

A few weeks ago I order a bunch of BBC mini-series, and I've just spent the past weeks watching most of them, so now I'm in the mood to icon! ;) Thus far, I've seen Middlemarch and Our Mutual Friend, and am now in the midst of watching Daniel Deronda, and I still have yet to watch The BuccaneersSo this isn't a "request" post, but a suggestion one. ITV's Persuasion
Ack, these are a bunch of shite. The colouring I used on the last batch of Persuasion icons just didn't work on the second half; I used it on some but it for the most part...blah. So I experimented a lot with colouring, cropping and darkness/lightness but...eh, it's a mixed bunch.
