I don't know if we are in the eye of the storm right now or what (though that is what I suspect) but it is very still and barely raining. Last night though around 2 am we were getting lots of rain and wind. Dave and I were woken up by the sound of a big metal object banging around our front yard. Sooooo glad you all are doing okay so far, I have been looking at all the pictures across the internet and for the States that are not used to this kind of weather, well they are getting a real wake up call.

Thanks. Yes - we were very lucky that we had no power outage. It really wasn't that bad here in the western side of PA like it was on the east side.

Still raining but not that seriously. Actually it has been raining for many many days here - before Sandy ever arrived. Getting tired of it! But we are thankful that it was so mild here compared to the east of us.

I did chicken out for a bit and yelled at Dave we should get inside but he wouldn't - it was his favorite canoe! Really though - the storm here was very minor compared to the east coast where the hurricane first hit land.
