I've been busy with getting the house ready to have our usual combo Father's Day, Anniversary, my birthday and Rossy's birthday party. I drove down to Pittsburgh to get Hazel on Sunday morning and then take her back home this morning. Pittsburgh/interstate - blaa. At least I was not driving in any rush hour traffic so it wasn't as bad as it could

Belated happy birthday. I love that yarn bowl. I keep looking at them and being tempted too. I had been thinking about a wooden one, but I would probably change my mind if I could find a ceramic one as pretty as that. I hope you manage to stay comfortable in this heat and that the hives go away soon.

Thanks. I'll let you know how good the bowl is when I get around to using it. It wouldn't work for skeins. That's why I didn't get one for myself long ago. It should be good for balls of yarn though.

I always rewind my skeins into balls, so it would probably work just fine for me. But also why I need one of those bowls because skeins roll all over the place!
