I would love to travel to New England someday. Bet it's nice.

"I love THIS place (Pennsylvania). I love the way things cool off at night in the summer and you get a fresh start with comfortable temps each day. I love the green of the grass and richness of the plants. I love the trees and shady walks in the woods. I love the many kinds of twittering bird songs you hear in the summer. I love how the seasons progress and there is always something new."

Awww you're making me miss it too! 💚

The hellish weather in Florida does put things in context!

I can't stand it. The only saving grace is the availability of fresh water, and the ability to have food-producing plants.
But ultimately the only reason I tolerate living in this climate is because this is where Jameson lives.

Anyway, glad you're back home safely!

Have to balance the Florida summers with the PA winters I guess. Both are times when people spend a lot of time indoors. For the final choice I still think I'll take PA.

Rainy posing pretty in her Summer coat. I like how they kept her tail plume.

Sometimes they give her a tufted tail. It's always a surprise.

Hope you enjoyed the hike, and that the tent wound up being OK. :-) *hugs*

The hike was great. After being in Florida and the super heat it's so nice to go walking here and not be all sweaty!

After getting the tent out it seemed dry and good so I'm leaving it to Candy's family to erect when they're ready for it.
