I took Candy to the Beaver Creek to show her the falls and we also went to a place downstream from there. We sat by the falls and soaked it in for a long time (the sounds of splashing, the cool fresh air, morning light and rainbows in the water spray). It was nice. I am enchanted with this place now. Thank you! I wasn't sure after I took them if I might have done better if I had used a different (more normal) lens.

I was at first (scared). Then we could see that it was doable to get the fire out. It was only down in the grass and the dead leaves on the ground. If it had gotten higher into trees it would have been serious.
