I work for the CW affiliate in my city and we recently combined buildings with the local FOX affiliate. We moved into their building. We have all sorts of new equipment and not all of it is working properly yet. I work for the news

Well, I watched the broadcast live on satellite TV tonight, and had the same experience. It was the same during Supernatural, plus there was a whole section where the sound went out. And can you talk to someone about that huge logo stripe that covers up like the bottom third of the screen? :D

I caught the last bit of the news while waiting for Smallville to start, and I thought about you the whole time. :)

That song is classic! I know just how fun it is to find a song you remember and love. I felt the same way when I found the whole Disney Afternoon album on iTunes. Wait, did I just say that out loud? hee!

I'm sorry that you had to put up with the same annoying crap that I did during tonight's episode.

That's weird that you got the same messed up feed from satellite as well. Maybe it's a coincidence that SV & SPN were messed up tonight and it had nothing to do with my station and its technical difficulties and had more to do with the network? I'm not sure...I can try and find out at work though.

Did you notice that our news is now called "News on the Deuce?" DUMBEST NAME EVER!!! It's supposed to be young and hip and cool, but we all hate it.

The huge blue banner that came up on the bottom of the screen was ridiculous. I hope that they fix that or make it smaller or something. Also, the sides were cropped on the edges of the screen or something else weird because during the show open, some of the titles were chopped off. Oy vey. Whatever it was, I hope it never happens again.

Are you escaping this place before Saturday? More snow is supposedly a-coming then. :-)

I don't know how the satellite thing works. It was still from your station, I thought, because it had the logo? It wasn't awful, but I'll be glad to rewatch on iTunes. I'm hoping the download is up before I leave, so I can watch on the plane.

I guess I SHOULD know how the satellite thing works, but I really don't. I guess we were both watching the same exact thing though except I was watching with cable instead. It makes sense that DirectTV and Comcast would get the same feeds. Stupid TV station!

Sorry about the technical difficulties. Sounds irritating. I thought the episode was moody, so thats sort of especially annoying to be broken up. I'm guessing holding off on Supernatural was wise.

Thanks for the sympathy. :-) It was very hard to get into the whole episode because the technical stuff was so annoying and distracting. I will definitely re-watch it when I get a normal version of it.

My SV was all messed up, too, but that was because of the stupid storm we had here in FL last night. It kept knocking out my satellite signal. I don't think SPN was affected, though. I didn't watch it, I went to bed.

You have some pull, you should be able to get them to tighten up, right?

I actually have absolutely NO pull for anything that happens at this station. I'm just a button-pushing peon...:-)

I probably won't. I only missed the part from when Davis asked Chloe if she has heard from Jimmy to when Tess had Davis in bandages at the mansion. I'm pretty sure I just missed the car blowing up, but I don't know how or why he went to the field and how Clark and Chloe knew about it. I may just watch that part.

I think as long as you're not watching the feed from Denver, you should be okay with your shows.

After I saw how messed up ANTM was, there was no way I was going to risk having SV messed up. It's a good thing I have nice parents who will help me further my obsessions.

And yes, I love Amazon! :-)
