I haven't ever read any RPS. OH WAIT of course I have, but it was the kind of RPS that you write on the back of tithing envelopes in church because you are bored and you and your friends are writing each other stories. Everyone did that, right?
Maybe I should start going to church?
and she is a sparkly pampered princess who tells everyone that she is an orphan worthy of Dickens, dresses like Stephenie Myers threw up all over her closet, flirts with everyone, and lies lies lies about her skill set.
Dude, we wrote so much RPS in church. It was the only thing that made it vaguely bearable. That and screwing with the Sabbath school teacher who couldn't tell the difference between me and my friend.
The D&D character before this one was fairly intense; she'd been an NPC elven slave that I inherited, so OF COURSE, being my character, she was all kinds of severely mentally damaged, terrified of everything [SOUND FAMILIAR NO OF COURSE NOT], just PTSD out the wazoo - until she got killed, and came back as a seething ball of rage and stabbing who only wanted to captain a ship. She was fantastic and I heart her so.
But a sparkly Rainbow Star princess who's shallow and a little ditzy is a change I definitely needed. :)

I am impressed. And moderately terrified.
